The Blooming Peace Mandala
Do you believe in magic?
It all started at the spring equinox when Moana and I decided to create our first big “BloomingPeaceMandala” in the English Garden, in the heart of Munich. A dream that slowly but surely began to come true.
A neighboring supermarket and the flower stalls at the Viktualienmarkt were so enthusiastic about our idea of setting a sign for peace that they generously donated flowers. Our hearts danced with joy at this unexpected support.
Our garage was flooded with the most beautiful flowers we had ever imagined. But that was just the beginning of a journey full of surprises and magic.
The weather presented us with a real challenge. Shortly after we arrived, a violent thunderstorm broke out, accompanied by hail, cold, thunder and lightning. We sought shelter under a tree and waited. But then something magical happened – a beautiful soft rainbow appeared in the sky and the weather suddenly changed. The English Garden was almost deserted, but a few dear friends found their way to us – and that was perfect.

Placing the flowers in the mandala shape was a touching and inspiring process. The silence and the naturalness with which we moved filled each of us with deep gratitude.
